Unlike an epoxy-based paint, which will dry in air, using a powder coat paint needs high temperatures, in the range of 300 degrees fahrenheit or more, to adhere, and that will melt the fibreglass boat floor.. Epoxy paste is thicker than epoxy paint and is used to make a more sturdy, hard surface. once the epoxy paste has cured completely, sand it using 80-grit sandpaper to even the surface out. mix your two-part marine epoxy primer paint following the manufacturer's instructions.. The floor epoxy may not have uv protection. call a local paint mfg and ask them about it and what you want to put it on. they will help you find the right product. according to the paint mfg i use they did not make anything that would work for use in my boat. that is in there own line.... other mfg's might have something that has the uv protection..
