Ian nicholson's book 'small steel craft' has some information about steel dingys - building and design tips - he proposes a really nice pram-style. he shows photos of the dutch-style (scowish type) too. i have been trying to 'collect' designs and photos for small steel boats - the material and the size interests me too.. Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional, whether you build boats with wood or metal and whether your craft is set to sail the high seas or to be used for a weekend on the lake, one thing is for certain.. If you are building a steel yacht from scratch then it will be worth shopping around the commercial suppliers and buying in bulk as this will save money. (ask a local fishing boat skipper who the suppliers are) any experienced steel boat owner will tell you to use good quality paint inside the yacht..
