Painted aluminum boat cleaning products???? i recently spent many hours trying to get the water stains off my 1990 19ft sylvan eleminator. has anyone had success with a product that would ease the pain of cleaning the water stains aquired from sitting in the water for extended peiods of time.. Just curious what others are using as far as wax goes for their painted aluminum hulls? i own a 2006 lowe f&s and have used collinite 845 insulator wax the last couple years with good results. it seems to last a while and you can definitely tell the boat has been waxed after using it.. I have been restoring a 14' klamath boat and i am happy with my paint job on the inside however it is the exterior of the hull that i want to clean up. i would like to restore it to it's original brite non painted aluminum look. there are little dark spots i would like to remove in addition to to making it brite and new looking..
